The Amazone Group has completed its 2023 financial year, reaching a new record revenue of 852 million euros; an increase of around 6%.
According to the company, high order numbers at the start of the year led to bottlenecks in production, however, this eased in the second half of the year.
Global conflicts also had an impact on trade, although Amazone states that these are currently impossible to assess.
Revenue levels were split, with around 80% of orders going into the export market. To meet the increased demand, production capacities at both Bramsche and Hude/Altmoorhausen were expanded.
Looking ahead, the company acknowledges the continued difficulties both on an economic and geopolitical level, with a reticence to purchase apparent in customers.
However, it also sees opportunities in new markets such as North and South America, with Brazilian fertiliser spreader specialist MP Agro becoming part of the Group in April.
Amazone states that the driving force for sales will be an expansion of its existing product range, adapting to soil type and climate across the globe. It continues to test new developments at its agricultural experimental station in Wambergen, right next to our main factory in Hasbergen-Gaste.
