Massey Ferguson, a worldwide brand of AGCO, is supporting the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) as principal sponsor of their AGM and Conference, where more than 200 delegates are expected to attend the keynote event at the Armagh City Hotel on April 23.
The YFCU is the largest rural youth organisation in Northern Ireland with more than 50 clubs dotted across the six counties and a membership of almost 3,000.
At the AGM and Conference, Local Massey Ferguson farm machinery dealer William Bell Tractors will be showcasing two of the latest Massey Ferguson tractors at the event. Delegates will also get the chance to see the new ‘Born to Farm’ brand identity and the fresh new look for the company’s iconic Triple Triangle logo.
Lindsay Haddon, Massey Ferguson advertising and sales promotion manager said: “It’s fantastic to be involved ‘on the ground’ once again with YCFU and reconnect face-to-face with members. We are especially excited to be supporting this event in the year that we are celebrating our 175th anniversary and our new ‘Born to Farm’ brand identity.
“MF has always had strong links with Northern Ireland through Harry Ferguson, one of our founders, who came from County Down,” Ms Haddon explained. “We are proud to maintain this deep association with the region’s farming community and the upcoming generation of young farmers. MF is fully focused on putting farmers first.”
Peter Alexander, president of YFCU, commented: “I am delighted to have Massey Ferguson sponson our AGM and Conference. Their support enables us to continue to host one of the most important events in the YCFU’s calendar; Massey Ferguson have been generous sponsors of the YFCU over the years, and I thank them for their continued support.”
