The agricultural machinery manufacturer AGCO has partnered with SRUC Barony, Scotland, and Riseholme College, Lincolnshire, to offer financial support to the colleges’ agricultural engineering apprenticeship schemes.
With the new partnerships, AGCO is offering apprentices the chance to gain a City & Guilds diploma at a venue closer to home, as well as the opportunity to embark on a full career path within AGCO.
Charlie Rollason, AGCO’s training and development consultant, said: “With these two new partners coming on board, and with a major investment by both AGCO and our learning partners, we aim to offer the same high standard of manufacturer-supported learning in convenient locations throughout the UK, rather than at one centralised hub.”
