NFU dairy board chairman Michael Oakes will be on the panel as a Q&A at The Dairy Show asks if the sector is ready for Brexit (Bath and West Showground, October 4).
Mr Oakes joins FFA chairman David Handley and Kite Consulting’s John Allen for the debate at the Dairy Farmer / Farmers Guardian stand at 11am.
They will share insights on how they think the sector will be affected by Brexit and what farmers should be doing now to prepare.
The Dairy Show has become one of the most important dates in the dairy farmer’s calendar, combining a comprehensive trade show with an exhibition of top quality dairy cattle.
More than 6,000 visitors are expected at the Bath and West Showground, with 300 trade stands and a similar number of cattle entries.
