Numbers of tractor registered continued to be suppressed by widespread disruptions to global supply chains in January 2022, with delays to deliveries to the end-user.
At 500 machines, the number of tractors registered in January was down 13.8% compared to the same month in 2021. The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) stated that it was actually the lowest January figure in more than 20 years, although this month is a historically quiet time for registrations.
