Designed to be used with the increasingly popular compact telehandlers and pivot-steer machines, Teagle has introduced the Tomahawk 6100H Compact bale processor.
It is said to have many of the same benefits as the existing range, with coupling taking just 60 seconds and a reported 30% saving in straw over manual bedding.
Machines with a lift capacity of between 1,200kg and 1,300kg can lift the machine, with a minimum hydraulic flow of between 40-50 litres/min required. The Tomahawk 6100H can hold one 1.5m round bale or half of a large square bale, blowing straw up to 12m.
WiFi control is fitted as standard to control the Hardox swivel chute, which can rotate through 280deg, and there is a start/stop fan to pause processing. To ensure an even flow of material, a load-sensing system has been integrated into the crossbeater, which will reverse the bed chains where necessary.
Options include side extensions and a hydraulic bale clamp, which is controlled through the WiFi system. Handler brackets to fit most brands are available, as well as a front loader attachment, and a linkage attachment to suit smaller tractors.
