The Agricultural Engineer’s Association (AEA) is reporting that UK registrations of agricultural tractors above 50hp were once again higher in July 2021 than during the same period in 2020.
1,019 units were registered during the month, a 7% increase year-on-year. This is below average for the time of year but the AEA suggests that a combination of monthly fluctuations, following a bumper June figure, and the impact of Covid-19 on supply chains have had an impact.
It brings the 2021 total to 7,864 units which is 22.6% higher than the same period in 2020 and 7% higher than the five-year average.
