From September 2022, the agricultural technology producer AGCO/Fendt has announced that they will be relocating the production and development site of their Fendt loading wagons, to another area within Germany. The production of the Fendt loading wagons will now be moved from the Waldstetten site to the Wolfenbüttel site in Lower Saxony.
The decision to move the site is an ‘entrepreneurial’ one, “to continue to make our machines for green fodder collection more professional,” said vice president and managing director of AGCO/Fendt, Christoph Groblinhoff. The current 70 employees of the Waldstetten site will be offered suitable solutions.
“In the coming years, we will invest in the development of forage technology as well as in the production of the Fendt products. In the future, we expect even stronger synergies that will arise through the collaboration of the development specialists for balers and loading wagons,” stated Mr Groblinhoff.
