Pöttinger’s Harvest Assist app has been designed to help optimise forage harvesting and now includes three new functions to further boost performance.
The first new function is the ability to enter the number of bales in a field, enabling those collecting to see how many bales are in each location – allowing them to adjust logistics accordingly.
Additionally, the company has extended the navigation services available through the app. As well as navigating drivers to the field being harvested, clamp locations can now be added to Harvest Assist, enabling those pulling trailers to quickly and easily head to the correct place.
Finally, a new Other Machines category has been integrated. This will enable bale collection machinery and forage harvesters to be added to the app, meaning that every driver in the fleet has a clear overview of the machines in the field.
Harvest Assist is available on Apple and Android devices as a free-to-download application. For more information go to www.pottinger.uk
