French manufacturer Novag is looking to the future after being acquired by the newly formed Agriculture Nouvelle Génération SAS (ANG) and undergoing a management restructure.
Jean-Paul Rault will step into the role of director, having worked closely with the company since 2012. He is the president of France Génétique Élevage (an organization for the genetic improvement of ruminants) and has many years of experience in developing international projects.
ANG aims to bring together minority shareholders, employees and Novag partners, with professionals such as B2C Trans (Export, Transport and Logistics) investing in the future of the brand.
“Our objective is clear: to preserve Novag’s unique know-how, ensure continuity of service for users and lead the company towards solid and sustainable development,” says Jean-Paul Rault.
The company adds that all warranties and commitments for the existing product range will be honoured, ensuring a continuous after-sales service for customers.
Expanding key markets
Novag intends to adopt a direct sales model in key markets such as Germany and France.
“As the founder, I am delighted to be investing here with the ANG team. This approach ensures continuity for the brand’s customers, distributors and partners while consolidating Novag’s historical expertise,” explains Ramzi Frikha, technical director of Novag.
The German subsidiary is fully integrated and will continue as normal. The company also plans to showcase new innovations at this year’s Agritechnica.
Lucas Zickermann, sales director of Novag GmbH, confirms: “The Novag spirit is intact, with the usual dynamism to support farmers in their daily challenges. Despite the difficult sales situation on the international markets due to the economic situation, our sales on the domestic markets (DACH region, France) have recovered slightly since the beginning of the year.
“This is why we are once again presenting our unique technology on numerous farms in our core markets as part of the Novag Demo Tour 2025.”
Meeting market demands
“While environmental issues remain at the forefront in many regions of the world, productivity issues have returned to the forefront in recent years,” says Jean-Paul Rault.
“In many emerging markets, food security is a top priority. Our technologies enable farmers to optimize yields while conserving natural resources. Conservation agriculture helps maintain optimal soil structure, reduce erosion and improve water management. In addition, Novag’s no-till method promotes carbon storage in the soil and makes crops more resilient to climatic extremes.”
