In the Transportation category of the 2023 Good Design Award, New Holland has been recognised for its CR11 combine harvester and the T4 Electric Power tractor.
The awards are presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd., founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, making it the oldest programme for design excellence.
Unveiled at Agritechnica, the CR11 is the latest flagship combine from the company, designed for higher productivity, minimal grain losses, improved residue management and increased automation.
According to New Holland, the new design was developed in close collaboration between the design and engineering teams, product specialists and brand marketing.
The T4 Electric Power is said to be the first all-electric utility tractor in the industry and joins the company’s Methane Power range as part of a full-line alternative fuels portfolio.
