Launched at Agritechnica, and winning gold in the DLG Innovation Awards, New Holland’s CR11 combine harvester will be produced at the company’s Center of Harvesting Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium.
The facility was responsible for the design of the machine and to prepare for production, has undergone a complete renovation of the assembly lines. This comes as part of government-supported company investments in modernisation.
One of the main improvements has been the introduction of automatic guided vehicles, enabling the company to be more flexible during production. New Holland has also introduced integrated oil filling stations, which will reportedly improve production quality and minimise the risk of spillages.
Visitors will be able to oversee the full production thanks to a new factory tour format.
