Coinciding with Farm Safety Week, Can-Am has launched a Responsible Riding Charter to reinforce rider best practise and challenge users to rethink how they approach rider safety.
The charter has been developed with the knowledge and experience of the Can-Am off-road team and is designed to help UK users through a series of simple and easy to remember tips. The advice includes being mindful of animals, including not damaging their natural habitats, remembering that each rider has their own way of riding and looking at ways to share best practise on different terrains.
To complement the charter, Can-Am has issued two safety videos on its YouTube page.
James Dalke, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, said: ‘The new charter we are launching reflects our commitment to educating users on the importance of rider safety. The charter aims to provide users with easy-to-remember tips and advice that spark conversations about responsible riding, whether at work or home. These conversations will, in turn, help users ensure they are as safe as they can be when out on the land and riding on trails.”
