The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) has announced that Scotgrass will return to Crichton Royal Farm, Dumfries, in 2022 by the kind permission of SRUC.
The event will be held on Wednesday 18th of May 2022, gives livestock farmers and grassland contractors the opportunity to see the latest grass conservation methods and machinery in action across field-scale plots on a commercial dairy farm. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest grass harvesting machinery put through its paces, as well as having the opportunity to speak with industry experts on technical subjects.
Kayleigh Holden, event organiser, said: “The AEA is extremely pleased to be back at Crichton Royal Farm which was also used for the 2019 event. The site in Dumfries offers excellent facilities for manufacturers to showcase their machinery to potential customers and visitors alike and we would like to thank SRUC for hosting the 2022 event.”
Along with the date announcement, Scotgrass also has a new website, look and logo, reflecting the interactive event format which includes a central exhibitors hub, surrounded by individual company demonstration plots and a working clamp demonstration arena.
