Czech manufacturer Strojírny Rožmitál, s.r.o. is highlighting its new front-mounted disc mower-conditioner at SIMA this week.
“With the new mower we are meeting the demand of farmers and customers, especially in southern Europe, where there is a great demand for models with roller conditioners. This type of mower is generally appreciated by every farmer who processes alfalfa, clover and similar crops,” said sales director Pavel Jahoda.
The SC-301R is a 3.01m machine comprising seven two-blade discs. The cutterbar is supported by coil springs and the unit features an overload-protecting gimbal friction clutch.
Cutting height can be adjusted from 40mm to 80mm and the unit is finished with a cylindrical conditioner, which can be disabled if necessary.
The company is also showcasing the rear side-mounted mower, the SD-300, with a working width of 2.98m and the same seven-disc cutterbar. This also features a hydro-pneumatic lifting system with the possibility of precise and quick adjustment by using a pressure gauge to maintain a floating position.
Tedders are covered with the OZ-5245, with a 5.2m working width and a possible output of six hectares per hour. The four-rotor machine features large-diameter rotors, each with seven arms and a double ring made of high-quality steel.
Finally, the company will showcase the SB-4231 single-rotor rake, with a 4.2m working width and ten arms around the diameter, each with four double fingers.
