More than 40 classic and vintage Massey Ferguson tractors will go under the hammer at an online and on-site auction hosted by East Anglian-based auctioneers Cheffins, on behalf of collector Alan Bancroft. The auction will take place Saturday May 7, in Skipton, Yorkshire.
Oliver Godfrey, Cheffins’ head of machinery sales, said: “Alan Bancroft is a well-regarded collector of Massey Ferguson classic and vintage tractors, with an eye for quality. He is a long-term client of Cheffins and has bought many of these tractors at our sales over the years; this collection could easily achieve over £500,000 in total.”
Highlights of the sale include a 1982 Massey Ferguson 1250, estimated to go for £40,000; a 1975 Massey Ferguson 148, with an estimate sale value of £8,000; and a 1995 Massey Ferguson 390T estimated at £18,000.
