The Opico stand at Lamma featured a limited-edition black and gold 6m Hatzenbichler harrow and seeder to celebrate 30 years of partnership with the Austrian manufacturer.
The UK distributor introduced the Hatzenbichler comb harrow into the UK market in 1994; originally selling them into the organic and arable markets.
Following customer feedback, heavier 7mm and 8mm tines were fitted on the harrow, leading to the introduction of the Grass Harrow in January 2025, which has proven popular with customers looking to revitalise pastures.
Over 10,000 machines have been sold through Opico since the launch.
Opico managing director James Woolway said: “Hatzenbichler’s range of grassland and mechanical weeding equipment has been an integral part of the Opico range for 30 years – we’re proud of the successes and results these machines have provided farmers and contractors across the UK over this time.
“We continue to work closely with their R&D team to ensure that the offering continues to meet the requirements of current and future farming practices.”
Following the exhibition at Lamma, customers will be able to enter a competition to win the black and gold harrow for a year, before the machine is auctioned off for charity.
