Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of its inception, the Norfolk Farm Machinery Club (NORMAC) will hold its biennial Cultivations Demonstration on the 8th of September.
While Covid-19 restrictions meant that the event had to be cancelled last year, the rearranged show promises to be the largest that NORMAC has ever staged, with a 200-acre site near Downham Market, Norfolk, kindly hosted by Albanwise Farming Ltd, with both static and working machinery from key manufacturers. It will also be the only agricultural machinery show staged in East Anglia this year.
NORMAC is expecting record numbers of farmers, contractors and machinery specialists to attend this year as the focus on soil conservation has brought cultivation equipment to the forefront of everyone’s mind.
The event starts at 8.30am and will finish around 4.30pm and is free to attend, with free parking. Busses will be available to transport visitors around the large site and there will be refreshments, including, for the first time, a bar. NRoSo and BASIS members can also collect points by attending select manufacturer stands.

NORMAC is the oldest farm machinery club in the country, established in 1946 as a means of educating farmers and operators about farm machinery. The aims are the same today and the club welcomes speakers from all aspects of farming, farm machinery and country life to evening meetings.
Seven clubs are present across Norfolk, with each organising its own programme of speakers, outings and recreational activities.
