The Norfolk Farm Machinery Club (NORMAC) has announced a new event, set to take place on the 24th of May.
With the recent upsurge of interest in weed control technology, NORMAC has been asked by a number of farmers to stage a working demonstration of the equipment now available.
With the kind permission of Raynham Farms Co., NORMAC has secured a field of maize for manufacturers to demonstrate robotic equipment and camera guided hoes.
The field will be open to visitors all day on Tuesday 24th of May where a number of manufacturers and distributors will be hoeing the crop. A small number of static stands will also show ancillary equipment and there will be refreshments available.
The site is close to Hempton, near Fakenham, Norfolk. Visitors should use the postcode NR21 7LJ and follow NORMAC signs to the central car park.
