From the 19th to the 21st at the APF Exhibition, Merlo will showcase its latest forestry-focused machinery.
Visitors can expect to see the Roto50.35 Plus, capable of rotating through 360deg. It’s powered by a 170hp engine and offers a five-tonne lift capacity and a reach of up to 35m while achieving road speeds of 40kph. At the event, this will be fitted with a GMT grapple for tree felling.
Plus specification models also offer dual hydraulic pumps, a tilting cabin and automatic management of the multi-position stabilisers.
Also on the stand will be the TreEmme MM250X tool carrier, with a 245hp, six-cylinder engine put to the ground through a 40kph hydrostatic transmission. The hydraulic output is rated at 285 litres/min, making it suitable for intensive front-mounted mulching units.
The company will also be on hand to discuss how its range of telehandlers can fit into forestry applications. The MF44.9 CS CVTronic will be on display with a three-point linkage and two-speed PTO, complementing its 9m reach and 4.4 tonne capacity.
Finally, the Cingo M12.3Evo tracked tool carrier will be on display. Using a 21hp diesel engine and mounted on tracks, Merlo states that it can work on any terrain, while the hydrostatic transmission enables fingertip speed control up to 5kph.
