Merlo will return to AgriScot this year, taking its usual spot at Stand 142 in the Highland Hall where it will showcase the latest additions to its telehandler range.
The TF30.7, with a 3t capacity and a 7m reach, is said to meet the demands of Scottish farmers. Measuring just 2m wide and 2.1m high, with a low cab option to bring this down to 2m, it’s suitable for tight yards and traditional buildings.
It doesn’t compromise on power, however, with a 100hp Deutz engine coupled with load-sensing hydraulics and flow-sharing technology to enable multiple functions to be activated at once.
This power is linked to an EPD-managed hydrostatic transmission, with a maximum speed of 40kph. It’s completed with the option of cab suspension.
Also on the stand will be the TF35.7 CS, 3.5t and 7m, which is an all-rounder machine with a 136hp Deutz engine and 139 litres/min from the load-sensing pump.
CS denotes the inclusion of cab suspension, an active hydropneumatic system, which can be directly controlled from the cabin.
Finally, the company will highlight the e-Worker electric telehandler, reportedly offering an eight-hour battery life with a 2.5t lift capacity and 5m maximum height.
The design sees the 1.5t battery mounted in the centre of the chassis, which provides greater stability, and gravity-assisted boom descent to extend the battery life.
