Scottish dealership George Marshall Tractors claimed the title of Krone Dealer of the Year, while four other UK machinery dealers were honoured at the Krone Dealer Awards.
Marcus Oliver, Krone UK managing director, said of the Dealer of the Year: “George Marshall Tractors joined the Krone family in 2020 and has since embraced all aspects of the brand, successfully transitioning into selling the full product range.
“The team has shown a high level of commitment to demonstrations and increasing brand visibility in the area, and the sales and management teams have an excellent willingness to learn about the machines and find new opportunities to enhance their exposure.”
Sales Dealer of the Year went to agricultural supplier Carr’s Billington. Mr Oliver said: “Carr’s has excelled in out of season stocking, while continuing to open new branches in the northern territory, following rapid sales growth.”
Lincolnshire-based JPM Agricultural were recognised as the Krone New Dealer of the Year, having made it into the top ten dealers for turnover in the first full year of supplying Krone products.
Having demonstrated a ‘strong focus on staff training and development’, alongside a consistently high commitment to service and after sales care, South West-based Compass Tractors was given the award for Service Dealer of the Year.
Finally, the Ambassador of the Year Award was presented in memory of Krone employees Rodney Benson and Darren Metcalf, who both lost their battles with cancer earlier in the year.
Mr Oliver concluded: “It’s been another fantastic year for Krone, and we’re immensely pleased with how our dealer network have performed, despite the challenges we’ve faced with supply and logistics.”
