A team from Harper Adams University will be on hand at Lamma on the 4th and 5th of May. Students and staff will be among the attendees and will greet visitors to the show and their stand.
Senior lecturer in engineering, Graham Higginson, said: “The Lamma Show is the premier UK machinery show for all farmers in the UK and beyond.
“It is a great opportunity to see all kinds of machinery and equipment – big and small and everything in between – as well as a showcase for new technologies and niche products.
“Additionally, it is a great opportunity to meet prospective and current students and alumni of Harper Adams University. Come see us on stand 6.646 to discuss agriculture and engineering degrees that matter.”
Among the exhibits will be the XAG V40 drone, the largest in the UK, as well as some of the latest autonomous robots from Auto Spray Systems.
Rob Pearson, CEO of Auto Spray Systems, said: “Auto Spray Systems are very excited to be attending the show alongside the team from Harper Adams University.
“We’ll be talking about our close working relationship with the University and the Hands Free Farm project as well as demonstrating the very latest autonomous drones and robots that are making UK farming safer and more efficient. We’ll be running daily, hands-on sessions throughout the event, so drop by the stand to see how farming is evolving.”
Harper Adams University shows and events officer Sarah Swinnerton added: “It’s marvellous to get back to events like Lamma in person – particularly after the last two years.
“Meeting people face to face at events such as this – to share expertise, research, and inspiration – really does make a difference.”
