The latest packhouse and food processing equipment from Haith will be on display at the Fruit Logistica event, from the 5th to the 7th of February in Berlin.
This will include the latest box handling range, featuring the QuantaFill box filler and QuantaTip automatic electric rotary box tipper. Both machines were developed to address the growing number of producers moving to box systems; maintaining quality while increasing operational speed.
According to the company, the QuantaFill, with an output of 50t/hr, is ideal for this. It also enables operators to place stacks of empty boxes in the machine, which are automatically de-stacked and transported to the filling module, before being restacked when the boxes are full.
The QuantaTip builds on the award-winning RotaTip system, which can tip and restack two boxes simultaneously. This reduces forklift movements, increasing the efficiency of operations.
Also at the event will be the fourth-generation Root-Veg Polisher. These will all be showcased on the company’s stand, A-21 in hall 4.1.
“Fruit Logistica is one of the most important events of the year for us, and we are very much looking to returning to Berlin,” says Haith sales manager Rob Highfield.
“With many growers, packers and processors looking to increase their efficiencies and do more with less, we have seen considerable interest in our latest innovations, such as the QuantaFill, and we expect, this will continue next month at Fruit Logistica.”
