Said to be the industry’s most popular box tipper, with over 170 units sold, the Haith Rota-Tip has been revamped and visitors to the British Potato event will be the first to see this new generation.
The Rota-Tip PRO, which has had a patent application granted, will take centre stage on the Haith stand on the 24th and 25th November. It features all-electric drives and a new mechanism to allow it to handle boxes of varying heights, which can be clamped to ensure they are secure and that contents are not spilt during the process.
The company has also added a powered rotation lid. In previous models, the web lid was fixed but now the lid extends just before the tipping process starts. It also has a narrower footprint to aid transportation. The 300mm difference means that the machine takes up less space, making it ideal for small packhouses and facilities.
Haith’s strategic partners, Grimme, will also have a strong presence on the stand as both companies make their first public appearance since formalising the working relationship.
“As well as our team, who will be able to talk to people about our class-leading range of vegetable handling solutions, we will have members of the Grimme sales team with us as part of our strategic working relationship,” said Duane Hill, Haith’s managing director. “And, just like previous shows, visitors to our stand are guaranteed a warm welcome, and we will be treating them to some of Yorkshire’s finest food and drink as normal!”
The company has exhibited at every British Potato show and is once again one of the event sponsors.
