BDC Systems will be at this years Cereals event, on Stand 523, where they will be showcasing a number of their grain handling equipment so that you can find the best equipment for you.
“Weather conditions last harvest resulted in a significant rise in enquiries for our grain handling systems with customers taking initial enquiries forward to the design stage more quickly than usual,” said BDC’s sales director Andrew Head.
He continued: “The BDC team is looking forward to talking to Cereals 2022 attendees about our industry-leading range of grain handling solutions, and highlighting how they can help make this year’s harvest and the harvests of tomorrow run as smoothly and as profitably as possible.”
On the BDC Systems stand will be a Moisture Monitoring System (MMS), which helps farmers and commercial grain store operators overcome the challenge of how to accurately and automatically check the moisture content of grain as it leaves the drier, before it is stored.
With the MMS, operators can pre-configure the MMS to send text alerts should the moisture content fall above or below the predefined levels; enabling the remote adjustment of the grain drier settings to optimise moisture content and reduce energy costs.
At Cereals, BDC will also display Skandia Elevator’s range of elevating and conveying equipment, with the H-Line being of particular interest to large farming enterprises, commercial grain store operators and milling plants that require high tonnage grain handling capabilities: the H-Line can now reach an overall height of 70m.
The BDC team will also be on hand to advise attendees on the various ventilation solutions. Such as BDC’s range of drive over level floor, corraduct half round above floor ventilation laterals, and suitable ventilation fans.
“In readiness for a potential wet harvest, interstate’s in BDC Systems’ Svegma continuous flow driers will no doubt be strong,” noted Mr Head.
“Svegma driers have an industry leading reputation for outstanding quality and efficiency, and are used extensively by farmers, farming co-operatives, commercial plant operators and maltsters.”
