JCB and Tuckwells have announced that their dealer agreement for Suffolk and Essex has not been renewed this year. The two companies have enjoyed a successful partnership since 2007.
James Tuckwell, managing director of Tuckwells, said: “This has been a very difficult decision for both companies. We will continue to support JCB agricultural products until the end of 2022 and we will work closely with JCB to ensure a smooth transition for all customers. We have already secured an alternative franchise and further details will be announced separately.”
JCB Agriculture managing director John Smith said: “Tuckwells have done an excellent job for JCB customers, and we have enjoyed a very strong working relationship with James and his team. It’s a relationship that has ensured customers received professional support for JCB products from Tuckwells’ sales, service and parts teams.
“We have reached an agreement with two existing JCB Agriculture dealers to cover the territory and from January 1st, 2023, G & J Peck Ltd will cover Suffolk and Oliver Landpower Ltd will cover Essex. Further details of the new dealer arrangements will be made available in the near future. Both JCB and Tuckwells would like to assure customers that the partnership is ending on very amicable terms and our jointly agreed aim is to continue supporting our loyal customers, now and in the future.”
