Compass Tractors, which supports farmers and contractors across Devon and Somerset, is celebrating 20 years of operation next month with a special event at its Bridgewater depot.
The dealership was established in 2004 by Justin Nicols and now offers equipment from brands including Fendt, Krone, JCB, Isuzu, Amazone, Sumo and Stewart Trailers.
Speaking ahead of the event, sales manager Robert Owens, said: “We haven’t hosted an event on this scale for nearly 10 years, so we are hoping to make a bit of a splash and give something back to our loyal customer base. The last 24 months have been particularly tough for the industry and events like this are becoming so important to share the load by talking to others.”
The event will include a hog roast, as well as a charity auction which will take place from 8.30pm, with proceeds split between RABI and the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The listings for the auction include:
- A day’s shooting at Great Holwell Shoot
- Four tickets to Wales v Ireland in the Six Nations
- A new MTec Quadmaster trailer
- A new Fendt 313 TKC trailed mower
- A new Fendt Former 426N single rotor rake, plus much more
There will also be a raffle, with a chance to win a £500 voucher for Compass Tractors, a Rolly Toys ride-on tractor, a 205-litre drum of oil and a set of new Isuzu wheels and tyres.
Rob explains: “Raising money for these essential charities means we can give something back from the evening. There are some top listings up for grabs in the auction and the raffle, so we hope to raise a decent total for the charities. The whole yard will be covered in marquees with all our franchises attending.”
