Agrifac UK has announced the appointment of Chris Armitage as its new managing director, effective 1st of March 2021. The role will see him take ownership of business operations across the company for the group’s four brands: Agrifac, Holmer, Zunhammer and Hardi, with 25 members of staff across the UK.
Mr Armitage joins the company with a wealth of experience, having previously worked for CNH and JCB. He also grew up on a family farm and will bring first-hand experience from across the agricultural industry to the role. Passionate to drive forward and build on relationships that have been consciously developed over the years, Mr Armitage is said to be committed to accelerate sustainable growth and meet the needs and demands of customers.
Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Armitage stated: “This opportunity presents me with the fortunate chance to lead an innovative company that has served our industry with products and services at the forefront of technology. We have recently embarked on a considerable investment programme, focusing on technology, processes and most importantly, people. With a number of new appointments within the sales and after sales departments already in place, steps are being taken to continually bolster our customer support across all of our brands within all of our departments”.
