The Yorkshire Agricultural Society has released a statement which, it says, “brings to a conclusion its investigations into alleged cattle tampering at last year’s Great Yorkshire Show.”
“No further media statements will be made,” the society said.
Nigel Pulling, Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society said: “The outstanding issue relating to allegations of tampering with dairy cattle at the 2013 Great Yorkshire Show has been resolved. The Exhibitors concerned have withdrawn their Appeals. By mutual consent, they will not be exhibiting at any future Great Yorkshire Shows.”
