As European markets tighten regulations and implement bans on diesel vehicles, Kubota has announced the LXe-261 electrically powered compact tractor. It’s said to be fitted with a large capacity battery with rapid one-hour charging and three to four hours of continuous runtime.
To make it suitable for mowing, hauling and other management tasks, it is fitted with an independent PTO, an HST transmission and multiple hydraulic outlets.
The company will showcase the product at Saltex in Birmingham this November, as well as Salonvert in France and EIMA in Italy. The LXe-261 will then be available for rental in the UK from April 2023.
