A first-time entry for the Turkish brand Başak, the 5120 is a compact utility tractor powered by a four-cylinder Deutz engine which produces 116hp, boosted to 120hp, and torque levels of 480Nm available at 1,600rpm.
The cooling package is hinged so that it can be opened up for cleaning and features a variable speed viscous fan, which is said to help reduce fuel consumption. The driveline is provided by ZF, with an automatic powershift across 32×32 gears, limited slip differentials on the front axle and automatic four-wheel drive.
A closed-centre, load-sensing hydraulic system is fitted, offering 100 litres per minute, feeding a maximum of four electro-mechanical valves and flow control available for all couplers. The rear hitch can be controlled from the cabin, or at the rear fender, and has a maximum capacity of 5,450kg.
There’s also the option of a front linkage, with a 2,200kg capacity and the possibility to fit two hydraulic connections. As well as this, a front loader can be specified with load-sensing hydraulic control, electronic control and boom suspension.
The cabin offers a noise level of 77.3dB, with good visibility provided by the four-post design, and an integrated heating and air conditioning system. The layout is ergonomic, with controls on the right hand side, including a multi-function joystick with transmission, hydraulics and hitch controls.
Cab suspension is available as an option, as is a series of precision farming systems including auto-steering and guidance.
