Designed specifically for hillside work, the Reform Metrac H70 is built around an all-terrain chassis with a floating axle system. The hydrostatic transmission drives all four wheels and there are five steering options: front, rear, all-wheel, crab steering, mirrored crab steer and offset all-wheel steering. Long wheelbase and short wheelbase variants are available, offering front axle oscillation of 9 and 15 degrees respectively.
Power comes from a newly developed Perkins engine, offering 75hp and 270Nm of torque, and the H70 is equipped with front and rear hitches as standard, with a hydraulic side-shifting system at the front with 200mm of movement. Hydraulic flow comes from a fixed displacement pump with up to 29 litres per minute.
In the cabin, the multifunction lever provides easy control of all main functions, with a R-Com controller. Notably, the H70 has a low unladen weight of 2,200kg and its unique shape provides excellent weight distribution and balance.
