Tractors coming out of the Antonio Carraro factory designated with a V are designed solely for work on vineyards. Its Tony V series is said to be the only tractor range on the market equipped with a stepless transmission while also offering a minimum width of less than 1m.
The 11700 V can be specified to just 980mm wide, making it ideal for the narrowest vineyards and has a 735mm centre of gravity height for stability even on steep hillsides. The steering angle maxes out at 55 degrees, with four-wheel steering as standard, and the front axle can oscillate 10 degrees to handle undulations.
A four-cylinder Deutz engine offers a rated power output of 105hp, increasing to 110hp when under load, with a 420Nm torque rating. Front and rear linkages offer capacities of 1,200kg and 2,700kg respectively, with up to nine individually programmable spool valves fed by a 135 litres per minute pump.
