The latest T7.340 HD is mounted on the same wheelbase as the previous 290 and 315 HD machines but with an increased output of 340hp from the FPT Industrial ECOBlue engine.
Notably, this output is achieved without boost, with a flat power curve to ensure that 340hp is available in all conditions.
Torque levels peak at 1,353Nm and the AutoCommand continuously variable driveline has been upgraded to deal with the increased forces, with a new hydro unit and an increased capacity rear differential for improved drawbar performance.
Technology has been brought up from the rest of the range, with the SideWinder Ultra armrest and the IntelliView 12-inch terminal providing fingertip control of the various functions, while a second screen can be optioned for a clear overview of more complex operations – being able to monitor machine performance and follow guidance or variable rate maps for instance.
The machine is rounded out with an 11,058kg capacity rear hitch with the option of a 6,016kg front lift system. Up to five rear spool valves, and three front valves can be specified, fed by a 165 litres per minute closed circuit pump, with the option of a 220-litre system for more intensive operations.
One of the most notable technologies is New Holland’s Integrated Large Square Baler Control, brought up from the T7.300 PLM Intelligence machine. This has been specifically designed to reduce wear and improve operator comfort when large square baling.
