Re-entering the competition after reaching the finals last year, Massey Ferguson’s 9S.425 uses an Agco Power engine to produce up to 425hp and 1,750Nm of torque. This is achieved with just a single turbo in place of the EGR valve for simpler installation.
The All-in-One aftertreatment system is integrated into the engine compartment, meaning that visibility is not impacted from the cabin.
Power is put to the ground through the Dyna-VT transmission, capable of reaching 50kph at just 1,550rpm, with simple in-cab control through the multi-function joystick.
At the rear, a closed-centre, load-sensing hydraulic system provides 205 litres/min, with the option of a dual pump system that increases the output to 340 litres for the most intensive operations.
A key focus for the company has been the integration of precision farming systems, with the MF Guide GPS system providing sub-1m accuracy as standard, with updates for section control, variable rate, TaskDoc sharing and Isobus.
A five-year subscription to MF Connect is included as standard, and an additional Fieldstar 5 screen can be fitted in the cab.
New technology features include Auto Turn, which automates headland turns in addition to the headland management system, tractor implement management and a new option of a central tyre inflation system.
