A key feature of the BCS Spirit 70 Dualsteer, which enters the Best of Specialized category, is the Dualsteer system which combines a central pivot with the front wheel steering for a 60-degree steering angle. This is bolstered by the overall width of the tractor, which is just 1,155mm and the possibility to reverse the driving position for reverse drive.
Under the bonnet, there’s a Kohler KDI 2504 TCR engine, producing 63hp and a maximum torque figure of 205Nm. This is put to the ground via a 12×12 mechanical gearbox, with a top seed of 35kph and smart features such as Power Clutch and Smart Brake & Go equipped as standard.
The open centre hydraulic system offers either 37 or 48 litres per minute, with an independent steering pump providing 13 litres per minute. It’s possible to have up to 11 remote valves, either mechanically or electronically controlled, with a maximum lift capacity at the rear of 1,900kg with a front hitch that can lift 650kg.
