In preparation of the 2023 season, Fendt has made adjustments to its Rogator 600 self-propelled field sprayer. The three model Rogator range offers sprayer models with tank capacities of 3850, 5000 and 6000 litres, plus a 500l clean water capacity, and boom widths ranging from 24 to 39m.
With the most recent refinements, the Rogator 600 sprayers now have more stable boom height control, new nozzle bodies, continuous tank cleaning and updates to the Fendt Vision Cab.
Stable boom height guide
For greater stability of the boom height guide, the mount has been revised and the sensor position adjusted; the new position better protects the sensor from dirt. Boom height control is now based on position data from up to six different sensors for better automatic adjustment to crop height, especially in row crops or uneven crops.
Nozzle bodies with new control
The new nozzle valves are electro-pneumatically controlled, for a lower power requirement and increased valve longevity. There is now also new nozzle options, from the manufacturer Lechler. These new nozzles meet the requirements for drift reduction and are compatible with the Fendt OptiNozzle automatic nozzle control.
Fendt ContiRinse: continuous tank cleaning
The 2023 Rogator models include a revised fluid circuit and Fendt ContiRinse, for faster fluid intakes; better accessibility for machine maintenance; and an easier filling process, thanks to the repositioned filling connection. There is also a new cleaning kit at the rear of the sprayer.
The integration of an additional pump for clear water enables the continuous internal cleaning of the application tank. Drivers can set a specific threshold for cleaning to start and, should the amount of liquid drop below this value, water is pumped into the non-applicant lines and pipes. This process displaces application residues from the pipes into the tank without diluting the mixture. A second threshold value then triggers the complete tank interior cleaning process. The continuous tank cleaning can take place during application and significantly reduces downtimes.
Update for the Fendt Vision Cab
The Fendt Vision Cab now includes a new cooler which can cool food or drink to 0° Celsius. The addition of a gooseneck microphone guarantees best sound quality due to the flexible gooseneck and the central position in the cab. The microphone also suppresses interference noises.
The cab’s exterior mirrors have been repositioned to ensure a good operator view on uneven surfaces or at higher speeds; as have the machine’s warning signs, so that the outer width of the sprayer can be reduced even with wide booms.
The Fendt Rogator 600 sprayers are available to order now and will be delivered for the start of the 2023 season.
