At this year’s Midlands Machinery Show, Mastenbroek will introduce its new CT12 AI crawler truck.
Equipped with artificial intelligence, the crawler includes a new safety feature which will recognise human forms close to the truck and alert the driver.
“The CT12 AI has been developed for two main reasons,” says Mastenbroek’s commercial director, Christopher Pett. “First, it takes advantage of the latest safety technology, and secondly, it meets the stringent health and safety regulations that the civil engineering and utility installation companies need for compliance, and this is an area in which our customers are increasingly working.
“It will also be a very useful safety feature for our customers undertaking agricultural drainage.”
Alongside the new functions, it features a full-width tipping hopper which remains fully visible when lifted. There is also the variable speed conveyor for the adjustable flow of aggregates.
At the front, a variable height and speed, 180deg rotating conveyor enables operators to place backfill directly into the trench, or in a hopper on the trencher.
