The 2024 mower portfolio from Kverneland has been expanded with two models – the 5387MT and the 5395MT, which fit between the existing 5087MT and 53100MT Vario.
These new models are based on the 3300-series platform and offer cutting widths of 8.75m and 9.5m respectively, with two mowing beds mounted on a folding frame. The smaller machine uses two 3.2m beds, each with eight discs, while the larger unit has 3.6m wide, nine-disc beds.
QuattroLink bed suspension is standard, offering 700mm of vertical movement and 30 degrees of transverse movement. As it’s a pull-type system, each bed can react to demanding ground conditions at high working speed. QuattroLink also includes a non-stop break-back mechanism across the full working width.
Semi-swing steel tine conditioners are fitted to both machines, with fine adjustments available to suit different crop types. The 5387MT and the 5395MT can also be fitted with the BX belt-type swathing unit, which can brought in and out of work as needed.
As the mowers are non-ISOBUS, both are supplied with an in-cab switch box for easy setup and adjustment.
