Pöttinger’s Tegosem hopper has been developed as an option for several of the company’s machines, enabling operators to cultivate, seed and apply additional products in one pass.
Featuring two different metering shafts, small seeds for grass and companion crops can be sown alongside a cash crop, as well as multi-species cover crops.
When mounted on a seed drill, operators can apply an additional product in a single pass. With the seed and fertiliser Terrasem unit, this can be increased to three products as required.
The Tegosem can also be mounted on the Terria, Synkro, Terradisc, Lion and Fox tillage tools, enabling stubbles to be cultivated and a cover crop established in a single pass. When working in root crops, the tank can be fitted to the Rotocare rotary hoe to place a companion crop between the rows to avoid soil erosion issues.
