The Pöttinger range of Vitasem mechanical seed drills has been updated. Available in working widths of 2.5m up to 4m, the machines can coupled be with various seedbed preparation machines.
According to the company, the focus of the facelift was to enhance output and ease of use. The hoppers on the new models are up to 25% larger, providing greater capacities.
The opening to the hopper has been increased for easier filling, and lighting inside the hopper has been installed. The calibration process has also been improved, with a two-part catchment tray that can be pulled out to the side.
Calibration is done via a manually-cranked handle, with the option of an electronic system. Operators can also link the Vitasem to a front-mounted Tegosem hopper to apply a second product in one pass.
