Lemken has announced the new Solitair front hopper, offering a 2,400-litre capacity for seed and/or fertiliser.
Designed to be pressure-resistant, the company states that the hopper is ideal for precision seeding or drilling, with product delivered to the rear toolbar either along the right side of the tractor or underneath.
Four dosing units with individual electric drives are fitted. When used for a single product the Solitair F, it can be specified with up to four width sections, used in combination with the Azurit precision seed drill for under root fertilisation as an example.
It can also be combined with the OptiDisc coulter bar for single or double shoot drilling.
One of the key benefits of a front hopper and toolbar combination is the weight distribution, and Lemken has made the Solitair F available with a front mounting to fit either a tyre packer, or additional ballast up to 800kg.
When optioned, the tyre packer can also be mounted individually, with space for 500kg of additional ballast.
