Vaderstad has extended its portfolio of disc cultivators with the Carrier XT; a high-speed primary tillage implement and seedbed preparation tool.
Hydraulically rotating disc axles increase the disc angle toward the soil, said to maximise penetrability. This enables a full cut-out at shallow working depths, or reduced soil flow at deeper working depths. Both of these can reduce fuel consumption.
It can be equipped with 450mm discs, the 470mm TrueCut disc or the ultra-shallow CrossCutter Disc. The machine is developed with Swedish V-55 steel for high wear resistance and long-lasting field performance.
The Carrier XT is available in working widths of 4.25m, 5.25m and 6.25m, in either trailed or mounted variants, and can be equipped with a range of single or double packer options. It will be available to order from October 2022.
