Horsch has revamped its power harrow range with the Kredo HD, available in working widths from 3m to 6m.
Its robust design means that the 3m machine can be operated by tractors up to 300hp, made possible with an 8mm thick hollow profile trough.
According to the company, this reduces the sealing surface, while the rotor sets are screwed in from below. Tine carriers, rotor kits and the shaft are all supported by two taper roller bearings and can be dismantled from below.
Greasing is done through an opening.
The Kredo HD will be part of the standard specification of Express KR, Versa KR, Versa SW and Versa SL drills, as well as sold as an individual unit.
Rigid models are available in 3m, 3.5m and 4m widths, with hydraulically folding units available in 4m and 6m. Ten rotors are fitted on the 3m version, said to ensure maximum clearance even in stony soils.
Each model uses quick-change tines, with the option of a carbide coating. It is also possible to adjust the operational speed and rotor speed to suit conditions.
The working depth can be adjusted from the outside of the machine, and can be monitored from the cabin. The levelling bar is adjusted using a universal tool.
