Agritechnica saw the introduction of a new precision tined weeder by Netherlands manufacturer Zocon BV. It is the result of a collaboration with agricultural trading company Geertsema.
The machine has a line spacing of 2.2cm, with 7mm hydraulically adjustable tines across seven rows. The tine angle is changed by adjusting the subframe with RVS plates. This also ensures that the tine pressure remains consistent between 100g and 5kg.
According to the company, the design provides a high ground clearance for multiple passes throughout the growing season. Working widths are 3m, 9m, 12m and 15m.
