Finnish manufacturer Avant has announced two new models in its 600 series – the single-speed 635i and the double-speed 640i.
Both are powered by a new Kohler KSD engine, with electronic injection and no after-treatment needed despite meeting Stage V regulations.
The power output is rated at 26hp and the engine is naturally aspirated for plenty of torque at low engine speeds, according to the company.
Depending on the model, top speeds are 12kph or 23kph and the change in engine has also boosted the hydraulic power, offering 66 litres per minute instead of 50.
New features include an electric power distribution unit, housing most of the fuses and relays, with safety functions controlled by a separate electronic control unit.
In the cabin, a multi-function display has been integrated with information about the loader, including engine speed, oil flow, fuel quantity and consumption and total operating hours, amongst other things.
