Agricultural engineering firm, JF Hudson Ltd, has will giveaway a Crop Roller and Compact Front Box to one lucky winner, in exchange for donations to Parkinson’s Care and Support UK (PCSUK).
Earlier this year, PCSUK opened the world’s first Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy, which could be central to the future of how the condition is treated in the UK and will give hundreds of patients access to specialist additional care.
JF Hudson choose the charity because the mother of James Hudson, managing director, was diagnosed with the disease in 2020. He said: “A few years back we decided to walk Penhill every year as a family on the Sunday closest to Yorkshire Day, 1st August, to raise money for Parkinson’s, and mum is determined to keep joining us for as long as she can. I decided that I want to do something to fundraise more for PCSUK as it is a fantastic charity so I’m hoping people will get behind the Crop Roller giveaway.
“Having the new centre provides facilities and support here in the UK which will make it so much easier for people. Mum recently had to travel to Italy to access the sort of treatment and therapies that the new centre will offer.”
A winner will be drawn at random on the 27th of January 2024 – the 10th anniversary of JF Hudson trading. The Crop Roller is 1.6m wide and comes with a 1.2m powder-coated Compact Front Box. Both attachments will mount on the front linkage of any tractor make or model. People are being asked to donate £10, plus any optional Gift Aid, to enter the draw.
Donations can be made through the firm’s JustGiving page
