Pöttinger has announced the introduction of an On-Land package for its Servo T 6000, enabling the use of wide tyres or crawler tracks to reduce soil damage.
Switching between in-furrow and on-land operations reportedly takes just a few steps. A hydraulic beam pushes the frame outwards so that the plough follows the tractor’s central line, enabling it to be pulled by machines up to 4m wide.
For consistent depth control, an optional depth wheel provides support ahead of the first plough share and is designed as a space-saving pivot wheel mounted within the central beam. Due to its hydraulic system, no additional spool valves are required.
According to the company, maintaining a straight pull line by ploughing on-land ensures more efficient power transmission, as well as less side pull. Guidance systems can be utilised and the comfort of the operator is increased as the tractor is working on the level.
The Servo T 6000 is suitable for tractors up to 500hp. For more information go to www.pottinger.uk
