Quicke UK has announced that at the end of November it will open its new distribution centre in Greater Manchester.
Managing director Steve Hewitt said: “We are pleased to confirm that the depot has been receiving stock in the past weeks and will be going online at the end of the month.”
The new depot will hold a full range of seasonal implements, including the new Silocut and high-demand loaders. It will aid the Scottish depot and central distribution units based in Germany in assisting UK dealers and customers with two to three turnarounds.
Mr Hewitt added: “Quicke UK’s implementation of the UK satellite depots was trialled in Scotland, assisting the central distribution network with fast-moving items.
“Having proved itself on selected items, we have extended the trial to include a UK base to increase the available items, shorten the lead times further, and trial state-of-the-art tracking across the UK.”
